Kaden’s Vacation with Grandma
Kaden visited his Grandma and Grandpa for a few days this weekend which included 2 days playing with kids at Jane’s Daycare. He had a great time but had to come home since I missed him.

Weiner Dog
We had an addition to our family yesterday which was one of the items on Laura’s list of things she’s always wanted. Read what Laura has to say about him on Shiny Duck.
Kaden likes him but wasn’t too thrilled about the shots he received at his 18 month checkup.

Sandbox
Kaden had fun playing in the sandbox this weekend with his cousins, so he spent quite a bit of time today in ours.

Three year anniversary
Today is our third anniversary. We went to Timberline Steakhouse to celebrate and I took the rest of the week off.
On Friday I’m taking Laura to her favorite restaurant for lunch, and tomorrow Kaden turns 18 months.

Kaden gets a ball
We promised Kaden he’d get a new ball once he started walking. He got his first ball today and knew exactly what to do with it. It is his new favorite toy.

Labor Day weekend
Laura, Kaden and I went fishing again over Labor Day weekend and caught a ton of fish. We spent a few days in Arlington and the rest in Wichita doing yard work.

Never fish with Laura
Laura and I went fishing yesterday with her grandpa. I caught one good sized bass in the same time she caught about 30. You should never fish with Laura.
