We left Friday and returned last night.

While we were there, we spent plenty of time enjoying the weather, had lunch in Wyoming, fed the chipmunks in Estes Park, and stopped by Casa Bonita on the way home.

This year was pretty expensive but well worth it. Highlights include:

1 laptop, a  netbook, a Nintendo Wii, 5 Wii games, 7 seasons of Married with Children, 1 kitchen set, a toddler tool bench and a whole bunch of baby clothes.

We even got a baby sitter for New Year’s but had to cut our evening short to take the dog to the emergency vet. Apparently he is among the many dachshunds who have epilepsy.

When we were visiting my family for Christmas we also discovered that Kaden likes to play the piano.

I go back to work on Monday.

There wasn’t much excitement except for a mean game of dominos with her grandparents.

Laura always wanted to camp out for Black Friday so last night we slept in the Best Buy parking and got her a $700 laptop for $500.The savings we received was immediately spent on a warranty.

She gets to fly to LA Tuesday for a filming of Judge Judy and will be back Thursday.

I worked most of the weekend so we didn’t hand any out either.

Laura carved Kaden’s pumpkin and her car ended up getting vandalized in the middle of the night. She came down with the flu Sunday and I have a lot to do at work so this week looks pretty uneventful as well.
